Why the shelves run from fee tables to a short glossary
Shelf A through shelf D in the Unsan-myeon reading room, and why the glossary sits last rather than first.
Visitors expect the glossary first. We keep it on shelf D, the last bay before the window. The reason is practical. People who start with definitions often stop there, and the room exists so that a fee table and a merchant note get read as well.
Shelf A, the dated fee tables
Each month has a single sheet for ordinary Solana token transfers: a date, a lamport range, and the SOL decimal beside it. Older sheets stay in order so a bookkeeper with a March payment can pull March rather than the current month. The sheets are teaching copies. They are not an invoice from the cluster.
Shelf B, notes from nearby counters
These are short accounts from stalls and cooperatives in South Chungcheong. Names are used when the merchant agreed, and withheld when they did not. The notes cover awkward afternoons: a mint mismatch, a memo that contained a phone number, a refund sent a day late. They are more useful than a general essay because the counters are within reach of this room.
Shelf C, public printouts
We print confirmed transactions and shorten memos before they go in the binder. The signature stays complete. Readers use these when they want to see layout without bringing their own payment. Pencil marks in the margins are left if the next reader might find them. Please do not tear a page out. Ask Bae for the single glossary photocopy if you need paper to take away.
Shelf D, the glossary at the end
Signature, slot, lamport, mint, memo, stablecoin, fee token. Six entries, each a short paragraph, written so they can be read after the tables rather than instead of them. The seminar glossary is the same text, reprinted for the Saturday seats.
If you have an hour, start at A for the month you care about, read one note on B, and finish at D only for the word that snagged. That route fits inside a day pass and still leaves time for tea after 11:00.
