Mentis Junction Co., Ltd.
The official registered business name is Mentis Junction Co., Ltd. The reading room was established in 2018 in Unsan-myeon, Seosan-si, South Chungcheong, Korea.
Hae-won Park registered the company after eleven years of bookkeeping for a fisheries cooperative. The first room on Saeteo-ro held one shelf of English notes on dollar-pegged coins for neighbors who were paid from overseas and wanted the words in plain sentences.
A short history
From 2018 to 2020 the work was a lending shelf and a Saturday hour for questions. In 2021 a dried-seafood buyer in Unsan-myeon received USDC from an overseas customer and could not tell a card-batch cutoff from a Solana confirmation. Park wrote the first side-by-side sheet that winter.
The Stablecoin Settlement Seminar has run on the second Saturday of most months since March 2022. Jun-ho Bae joined in 2023 to check printed examples and keep the day book. The company remains a reading room and a teaching practice: four study formats, a public fee shelf, and no custody of anyone’s coins.
How the room works with people
Sessions are in English. Participants write any Korean shop terms they need in their own notebooks. Examples are public transactions or the visitor’s own already-confirmed payment. Seed phrases and private keys are left out of the building.
Park still pulls the monthly fee range from public cluster figures and dates the sheet. Bae refuses photocopies beyond the glossary page, which keeps shelf C intact for the next reader. Rates are published on the rates page and repeated in the confirmation email before any transfer is requested.
What the company values
A payment should be readable by the person who has to enter it. A fee should be named in the token that actually paid it. A shop policy for refunds should exist before the first stablecoin sale, and the reading room should say when a question has turned into something the room does not do, such as moving coins or writing a letter for a tax office.
